Ruby is packing of maximum sustained winds of 215 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 250 kph. It's forecast to move west-northwest at 13 kph and is expected to be 230 km east of Borongan, Eastern Samar by Saturday morning (December 6, 2014).
Meanwhile, 34 areas were under storm warning signals as it intensified further and continued to move toward Eastern Visayas.
