Man kills daughter on her birthday and stabbed 3 others

In Cebu, a birthday turned to a bloody incident after a man killed his three children and his mother-in-law on Sunday afternoon, October 5, 2014.

According to the report of RGMA Cebu's Sharife Roda, the suspect identified as Eric Figues is allegedly high on drugs when he killed his three children aged 6, 4, and 2; and his mother-in-law, Imelda Mulat, 47 in Catmon Town.

Investigators found out that the suspect killed his 2 sleeping children then attacked his eldest child next. Figues also attacked his mother-in-law when the 47-year-old woman tried to save the bleeding children.

Investigators theorized that the suspect stabbed himself after the incident.

Meanwhile, the suspect's wife was working at Lapu-Lapu City at the time of the incident.
