Typhoon Luis Storm Signals

Storm Signal No. 1 was raised in Four provinces in Luzon while Tropical Storm Luis intensified as it moved towards to Cagayan-Isabela area.

In its weather bulletin issued at 11 a.m., the state weather bureau said the eye of Bagyong Luis (international name - Kalmaegi) was spotted at 465km east northeast of Virac with maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 120 kph.

The tropical storm Luis, which is expected to move north northeast of 252km Virac, Catanduanes by Sunday morning, PAGASA reported.

Signal No. 1 raised in Isabela, southern part of Cagayan, northern Aurora and Catanduanes.
