11-month-old Baby Girl found Dead and Possibly Raped

An eleven-month-old baby girl found dead under a parked passenger jeepney and it was possibly raped, a report on GMA news program "24 ORAS" said.

On Thursday evening (July 31), the little girl and her parents slept in front of a bank. But when the parents of the 11-month-old baby woke-up, they realize that they daughter was gone, a report on ANC Yahoo said.

On Friday morning, while a jeepney driver cleaning his parked vehicle in Barangay Tibagan in San Juan City, he saw a baby girl dead and naked.

The homeless parents of the baby identified her.

A footage from a CCTV camera installed near the area where the girl's body found caught a man and carrying the baby.

The suspect identified by a witness as “Digoy,” a former worker at an auto service shop in Brgy. Tibagan.

According to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Crime Laboratory, the infant died from a blunt traumatic injury to the abdomen and clear evidence of blunt force or penetrating trauma to hymen.

Authorities are conducting a manhunt operation against the suspect.

Mayor Guia Gomez of San Juan City is offering a P100,000 for anyone who could give any information on the suspect.
