3 killed, 3 Wounded in Shooting in Batangas

A shooting incident in Mabini town, Batangas leaving 3 dead and 3 wounded on Sunday evening, September 21, 2014.

According to a report, the victims were in a restaurant around 10 p.m in Barangay San Juan, Mabini when unidentified armed men shot them with high-powered firearms. Jonathan Tolosa, Cesar Manalo, and Isco Ramos immedietly dead after the incident while Miguel Aldovino, Marlon Orsaal, and Rea Bernales wounded. The three are now being treated at the Mabini General Hospital for multiple gunshot wounds.

Suspects escaped on board a white Toyota Corolla and fled towards Bauan town.

Mabini police Chief Inspector Rosell Encarnacion said that the victims are all residents of Barangay Sta. Maria in Bauan, Batangas and they were focused on buying and selling of scrap materials.

Police have launched operation to capture the suspects and identify the possible motive behind the killing.
