As Tropical Storm Inday expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Thursday evening, some part of Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabazon, Bicol Region, Cagayan Valley and western Visayas will experience occasional rains, state weather agency PAGASA said.


Packing a maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 90 kph, Inday spoted at 580 km northeast of Basco in Batanes as of 4 a.m July 31, 2014.

Inday is moving to north-northwest at 17 kilometers per hour

Mimaropa will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA also said that there are moderate to strong winds from the southwest will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the south to southwest over Mindanao. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough.
