The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration(PAGASA) said Tuesday that the low preasure area in East of Aparri, Cagayan has developed into a tropical depression and it was named "Inday".


PAGASA said Tropical Depression Inday was estimated at 870 km east of Aparri, Cagayan as of 10:30 a.m. and it's packing a maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center and it is move to northwest at 15 kph.

By Wednesday morning, INDAY is expected to be at 690 km East Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan and at 695 km Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan by Thursday morning.

By Friday morning, it is expected to be at 740 km North Northeast of Basco, Batanes.

The new tropical depression will not yet affect any part of the country, PAGASA added.
